About Institute

Industrial Training Institute Phulbani was started in the year 1982 and has completed more than 36 years of useful service to the student community across Odisha by raising their living standards by imparting to them several income generating skills. Different trades of the institute are affiliated to NCVT.

Apart from vocational skills, we promote right attitude towards work, principles of healthy and purposeful life. We provide short term courses like Computer fundamental, Tally, Computer Hardware, Multimedia & Webpage Design , Basic Electrical ,Basic Electronics, Mobile Repairing, Tailoring , solar electricity training etc. under MODULAR EMPLOYABLE SKILL Under Skill Development Initiative ,Govt. of india. These courses are free. We have TIE UP with some PREMIER Placement Based Coaching Institute for RAILWAY AND other PSUs. We have some MOU WITH industries for Sharing the technical skill while taking training. English Communication Skills are also taught so that the students can be placed in multinational companies. Special attention is given to extracurricular activities such as sports, debate-cum-student-seminars, cultural programs and community works to develop the interpersonal skills of our students.

History

This institution was established on 22nd May 1982 by former Chief Minister Shree Janakibalhaba Pattnaik. This institution is established was started with few trades. Right now this institution is having 9 different trades.
